Mergi pe o șosea din România cu un automobil japonez, la radio se aude Baila Morena cât aștepți semaforul să se facă verde, treci pe lângă magazinul de mobilă suedeză și ai ieșit din oraș. Virezi spre centura de ocolire a Bucureștiului și în zece minute ajungi în service-ul nostru din Chiajna. De revizia mașinii tale se ocupă un mecanic care vorbește și spaniolă. Jeje, unii ar zice globalizare. Noi punem umărul la ea!
A fost în Spania 8 ani, unde a lucrat în domeniul auto. Nu și-a dorit niciodată să rămână acolo. A revenit în România și a început să-și caute de lucru: prima dată a aplicat pentru postul de mecanic în service-ul nostru. A venit și a rămas aici.

În curând, se face un an de când suntem colegi. Astăzi ți-l prezentăm pe Laurențiu Mănăilă, unul dintre mecanicii care fac ca inima mașinii tale să bată constant și frumos, îi curăță plămânii și are grijă ca toate sistemele să fie în parametri corespunzători.
„Nu am ales meseria asta. Am lucrat în telefonie și în construcții, iar cât am fost în Spania, ultimul job l-am avut într-un service. Am stat opt ani printre mașini și piese. Așa a fost să fie. Mi-a plăcut și nu vreau să mă desprind.“ Pentru Laurențiu, colectivul contează foarte mult. „Ai nevoie de ceva, toți sar să te ajute aici. E un mare plus!“
Ca să fii un mecanic bun, trebuie să-ți placă să și citești. Și să fii atent la detalii. Laurențiu consideră că oricât de bun ai fi ca mecanic, dacă nu respecți documentația de specialitate, nu vei putea repara 100% corect un automobil. „Trebuie să ai un ajutor, un suport tehnic“, spune el arătând spre biblioteca din service, pe care o consultă frecvent. În ceea ce privește meseria pe care o are, spune că mecanica evoluează permanent. „Totul de schimbă și trebuie să ne adaptăm, dacă vrei să iei o pauză de un an, e greu să revii.“
Laurențiu este unul dintre membrii familiei noastre care învață continuu, fiind un profesionist care ține ritmul tuturor noutăților din domeniu. A primit abc-ul în străinătate, îl dezvoltă aici, iar de performanțele sale beneficiază acum cei care ne trec pragul. Abia așteaptă să-ți cunoască mașina!
